Farmation was founded in 2018 when Jon Nohl recognized the need for a reliable way to monitor fertigation applications on his family’s farm in west-central Minnesota. This insight led to the development of the InjectorSentry, which launched in 2019 to give center-pivot irrigation growers an effective way to monitor and track their fertigation applications. After Valmont Industries purchased the InjectorSentry in 2021, Farmation continued to innovate. With assistance from MWI of Hiawatha, Kansas, Farmation licensed the InjectorSentry technology from Valmont and brought the InjectorSentry Lite (IS Lite) to market in 2025. Today, the company remains committed to developing practical solutions that help growers optimize their operations and increase productivity.
